DECEMBER 2008 – ‘Let it Snow…’

The last 2008 session of Weston Art Club was held on Tuesday 16 December. The next meeting will be Tuesday 6 January 2009 – usual time, same place –
7pm at the Weston Community Project.

We marked the last session before Christmas with some festive cheer, drawing to a close a thoroughly enjoyable and creative 2008. Liquid refreshments were provided, but of course this didn’t mean that we just ‘put our feet up’. We looked at different ways of depicting snow in our paintings, working on black paper and using a variety of techniques and tools, including masking fluid and a tooth brush! Some of the results are attached. – and as you can see next year’s Christmas cards should be no problem.

We do have lots of plans and ideas for the coming year, but always welcome views and suggestions from our members.
